fun fact, Maiden early in their career got booked to play a show with Siouxsie and the Banshees, Steve Harris wasnt sure how the show would go so they went to a Siouxsie show and saw the punks spitting all over and doing their thing. He immediatly cancelled the appearance because he was afraid there would be a lot of conflict between their audience and the punks(remember this was the early 80s and a lot of issues between different crowds)
