Terminal Block Connection Types

Screw Terminal Blocks - the most common connection type and made with a stripped wire and screwdriver. For the most stringent requirements: the screw connection has also proven itself in the wiring of large conductor cross sections.

Spring Connection Terminal Blocks
The special contact spring allows easy insertion and guarantees a high level of contact quality.

Push-In Terminal Blocks - Easy insertion
With push-in connection technology, you can easily connect conductors from 0.25 mm² both directly and without the need for tools.

Fast connection Terminal Blocks - Contacting within seconds
No stripping, no crimping – simply cut the cable to length and it makes contact within seconds.

Barrier Terminal Block - used whenever vibration is an issue typically in rail or transportation industries. Use with spade or ring terminal connected placed over the bolt and secure nut over bolt. This will resist loosening from vibration.

Why do you keep saying operators instead of technicians. Operators don't wire panels. Good demo for beginners though.

Sometimes there are blocks with numbers and letters. The circuit diagram refers to put some wire in terminal for example XG07-1 a. My question is how to know where A letter is located, I can se the number but not a, b, c, d etc. thanks in advance!

You take one look at this guy's hands and can tell he actually DOES this.

What is a test block? Is that the same as a terminal block?

Very informative and professional, thank you. The only concern I have is around 3 minutes in, you mention that the fast connection terminal blocks require no tools, right after using a precision screw driver to lock the wire in place. Are there similar types the can be installed without the screwdriver?

FANTASTIC, THOUGH LOOK SIMPLE THIS TERMINALS EMBARRASSES SOMETIMES .. DIFFERENT MANUFACTURES MAKING THEIR OWN DESIGNS AND TECHNICIANS ARE TO STRUGGLE FOR THE KNOW HOW . MOST COMPANIES BUY THESE PANELS AND THEY DON BUY THAT SPECIAL SCREW DRIVER .
