Honestly, what's caused me more angst than the market drops is just how much less valuable my net worth feels due to all of the inflation.

It’s interesting how USA focused your target audience is, the UK FTSE 100 is up 0.9% this year, albeit S&P 500 is up more over the longer term. As ever diversification rules!

100% $SCHD in my stock portfolio. Market-like returns with lower volatility and growing cash flows year over year. Retiring at age 50 with the 5% rule, a part-time job and a paid-for house. Will quit the part time job when it’s time to take social security.

Six figures of retirement income, six months of vacation, and very low fixed expenses.
