This comparison doesn't make sense. Jimny and Thar are meant to be a different league of vehicles. Creta shouldn't be compared with them.

What a silly comparison…. Putting a ladder on frame real SUV with a Monocoque chassis like Creta which is also one size smaller than the thar.. you could compare the xuv700 with the thar for equal category comparison instead

All well and good till you realise the jimny is consistently on discount selling under 15 lacs on road. Also, a person looking at roxx or Jimny will never be thinking of creta. mahindra and maruti suzuki already have xuv700 and grand vitara to take on the creta, and they are selling in very good numbers. Whoever thought of this test deserves a demotion.

How it is possible to compare Creta with Thar ROXX? Creta can be compared with Toyota Hyrider, Grand Vitara, Honda Elevate etc. and not with Thar Roxx which is altogether a different class and category...

I don't understand why people are so bothered by this comparison, it was clearly stated in the video the reason behind this comparison. Also, Mahindra themselves said they want to capture the so called "creta" segment with the thar roxx so I believe the comparison is totally justified .

bit more speed and that jimny would have popped out of those tyres...This test really shows how superior monocoque construction is compared to body on frame for 99% of the people 99% of the time. There is a reason even Hardcore SUV makers like Jeep and Landrover are diching body on frame construction.
