Apple should lose the counter intuitive design "traditions". Resize any window on a default post 1995 Microsoft Windows explorer window and the icons move and scale in realtime with the changing window size.

Do this on any MacOS including Yosemite and the icons just remain static and you have to use scrollbars of all things to pan around the icons.

It is absolutely insane. Relics of a bygone era like this are abundant in Apple design, and lie at the heart of accusations that MacOS is hell to be productive with.

In stark contrast to iPhone.. (Though not iPad).
