2020 Volvo XC90 T8 Review - 400HP from a 4 Cylinder?

For 2020, does the New Volvo XC90 T8 Plug-in Hybrid PHEV have what it takes to take on the competitors like the BMW X7, Mercedes-Benz GLS, Audi Q7? The New XC90 T8 now comes with a larger battery for increased range as well as a 6 or 7 seater option. This PHEV will qualify for EV rebates in many states and provinces, make sure to check in your jurisdiction. You can also drive this in many HOV lanes with a single occupant.

I love the non-leather option, that is so nice, that would be my preference, especially living in the cold hell I live. Years and years ago my buddy bought a Mercedes and wanted cloth so he had to special order it but it was so worth it.

Not offering a 6 cylinder engine is in my opinion the main reason why the XC90 didn't destroy the competition. This is by far the best looking SUV out there. But 4cylinders and luxury just don't work together even in the downsizing world. All the other manufactures manage to offer 6 cylinders, why did volvo cheap out? thanks for the video!

Between this and T6, which one do you recommend? I mostly drive under 15 a day, so the range is good for me, but I am concerned about Price, lack of spare, and extra weight.

Nice car to lease, just imagine what it would cost to repair this thing after warranty, it's turbocharged, supercharged, a plug hybrid, etc. Way too much to go wrong! lol It is a nice machine though! :-)

LOL ... Now they got people paying a premium price for cheap-looking fabric seats over premium leather.
Just like the milk producers taking out the best part of the milk, the cream, and then selling the "stripped" watered-down
tasteless milk at a premium price and calling it skimmed-milk!

Wait and see GV80 from Genesis^^
I don't believe Volvo is luxury brand, anyway main point is that price is too high...
To compare with Genesis on this Volvo, well... I am going to Korea this March and I will be test driving GV80 and hope finds main difference with Volvo^^;
