Yep, it's another game on Mac. Follow along to learn how you can play Skyrim on Mac without using any taxing or disruptive software. Best part is, apart from purchasing Skyrim, this method is free - so if you already own a PC copy, what have you got to lose? (other than perhaps a sweet roll?).

Have you dealt with the error "Unable to find a version of the runtime to run this application"?

I think my issue is I downloaded Skyrim and Porting Kit on MacOS 13.0 (which said it was out of date) and just now updated to 10.14, but for some reason it still won't work.

everything was fine but when i open the game I can hear the sounds but its just a blck screen. Anyone knows how to fix it???

Please help me. I try to play Skyrim anniversary edition through Porting Kit on my MacBook Air 2020 and it works great but the music and dialogues don't work. Every other sound works great but not dialogues and background music. Please help :S

great help man working like a charm, although the modded files I've downloaded from the Nexus aren't working when put into the skyrim folder or data folder. I'm still able to mod on the actual skyrim game via the mods menu.. put 80 or so in and its working perfectly line

Hey, I know this has been up for a while but I wanted to ask if there is a way to play assassin creed using this same method? I downloaded it from the same steam that was installed and it tried to install ubisoft connect on its own and that did not go well as UC was crashing and starting repeatedly.

Install went well, game launches, everything perfect until i press a key then it freezes. Any fix?

everything loads for me and then when I get to the game and choose my display settings correctly, the window opens for the game and then it pops up that it can't initialze the render properly...anyone else have this issue? I've looked up others with the issues and it seems to come down to the video settings, but I have gone through them all to test and it still won't work for me.
