The anemo application for Jean’s burst is actually amazing for Furina and Neuvilette because you don’t lose the draconic stacks by having two hydro units. If the enemy hits you with any kind of elemental damage, you’ll be able to swirl and apply it back to the enemy and get a free draconic stack without needing that element type on your team.

I have lost 3 50/50's to Dehya and I have only been playing 13 months.

I decided to just lean into it and when the Chronicled Wish came around I got her her weapon. I don't have any teams for her yet, but I have built her and leveled her talents. I'm selecting her for the Anniversary because it puts me one step closer to C4 so I can finally stop caring about her steep ER needs and focus on farming her signature artifact set.

Diluc is for me the coolest char in the game .and I'm still clearing abyss 12 with him from day one until now.

Going for C4 Dehya, planning to get her C6 then to get her weapon when chance occurs. I like giving chance to characters everyone shits on because they don't erase everything in 3 seconds.
This game is literally built on reactions and 4 characters in party, not one character.
I cleared Enkanomiya in 2.4 with DPS Barbara with support from Albedo and EM Raiden. It was a fun challenge.

I really want Dehya because she's so pretty and I lost the 50/50 on her banner, but I'm going for Tighnari, I love his playstyle and it's been some time now that I want a strong individual dendro, so getting him for free is a win since I couldn't pull at his banner

For me this question is simple: i still not have Kequing but i have her best team and best weapon for her (misssplitter), i just will build a beast Kequing and speedrun this abyss

c2 Xinyan can be better than Dehya as a defensive option if Thoma can't be used. c2 Xinyan makes her burst create a level 3 shield which pulses with Pyro that's treated as skill damage, so it also procs TotM. Also, c2 Xinyan burst has a 100% crit rate, meaning you can run Fav Greatsword on her without needing Crit Rate. And finally, the reason you'd use Xinyan over Dehya is because Xinyan's burst has a 15 second cooldown while Dehya's skill is a 20 second cooldown; often you'd be using your defensive Pyro support with Bennett who also has a 15 second cooldown burst, so Xinyan lining up her rotation with Bennett makes for tighter rotations.

The reason to use Dehya over Xinyan is if you don't want to invest in the defense artifacts and talent levels needed to make Xinyan work, because Xinyan's off field Pyro application is lost if her shield breaks. Dehya can still perform her job even with garbage TotM artifacts.

Anyway, I've been AR 60 for a long time, and I've played since Kokomi's first banner when I first joined. I still don't have a Jean or Diluc. I am taking Jean.

even after 4yrs (soon) of playing genshin i haven't gotten a single Diluc in my main acc, what's even more funny is that i got tighnari and dehya already from lost 50/50.
How does this even happen 😂, picking Diluc just cause he's the only standard 5-star i currently don't have (otherwise, i would've gotten cons for dehya, her c2 makes her supportive play-style less clunky)

I have watched around 4-5 of these 'which to pick' videos and yours made me actually feel equipped with the information I needed, based on which team archetypes I am interested in, which constellations I have already, and whether I already have (or plan to soon get) one of characters that would fit that role better. Also included is quite a bit of nuance, such as the bigger aoe on Dehya's abilities vs. other pyro dps or off-field Thoma procs.

Oh and since you asked, I'm picking Keqing to make my first aggravate Fischl-driver team. I have all the standard 5-stars at least c0 except her and Tighnari.

by the shutting down of genshin's servers, I WILL have my c6 dehya, wether it be through loosing 50/50s or picking her at the anniversary ! (currently on c1, I haven't gotten very lucky)
