She needs a really massive overhaul for her traps and wall to be viable, but these changes are heading in the right direction

Honestly this is what I was expecting deadlock’s gravnet would be like on launch. There’s a higher window to coordinate with your team to throw like a raze nade or sova dart after the sound cue or even just for the deadlock to swing on the cue

This is a good start for a buff for her kit, this is good because her gravity net is not used very often because of some situations are not usable for clutching or winning the rounds. So far this is a start for her.

Ngl this is pretty powerful, it's much less cancelable, so much larger, and with the doubled removal time (that you get notified about when it starts) you can play off of this much more, whether trying to swing off it or combining it with other util

It's not a huge change but I do think this is the correct direction :) I think she'll get better over the next few months and will probably stop around the level of cypher.

Her net should work like a hard to see molly, you can deploy it before hand and when anyone runs on it they gets crouched

FOR EVERYONE WHO DOESNT PLAY DEADLOCK / PLAYS HER WRONG: Deadlocks "Traps" are meant to be placed ON SITE, not as a cover for flanks. She is an ANTI-DIVE Sentinel, NOT a trap sentinel (like Cypher and KJ) while her traps COULD use some adjustment like this buff for gravnet, reworking her into a trap agent will ruin her intent to counter raze and jett, and we'll see YET another year where they dominate. PLAY HER CORRECTLY I FUCKING CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH

YES. GravNet now is a dead sentence on entry choke.

She's still useless on offence but a Gravnet alone can deter exec so hard if enemy have brain. The perma hold and utility hold is huge.

Need more buff like her sensor traps to be capable of relocation like cypher traps

They could make the wall into a transparent cylinder shape instead for better consistency. More or less Cypher cage trap that is transparent and blocks movement. but you can still shoot through.
The circle shape would be just more consistent in deploying it.

Not enough to make her 'not useless' but consideribg that her gravnet almost never made a difference when it was used, this buff is MUCH needed

I played deadlock yesterday and she's really overpowered her best map is lotus :) also tip put ur trip deep especially to b main and watch map before ulting

I fell that riot needs to make an preview to the wall and the traps can maby rearm like the cypher traps

her traps need more vertical height or the ability to be placed on the ground imo. her best placement is definitely the ceiling traps facing down but that’s map and site dependent

this is fixing one problem of deadlock. As a deadlock net, locking down a site is pretty difficult because you cant rely on her sound sensors without putting them in unbelievable weird spots. Her net changes seems nice and leaves more room for pressure and team follow up.
