I think her trip works fine, the only thing i find too weak is her gravnet. Make it so that they have to crawl out of the net in order to break it, not just holding F for a less than a second.

i'd buff the trip by making it detonate if:

1) opponents in AoE make sound
2) any opponent stays in the AoE for more than 1.5 seconds, regardless of whether they make sound.

This means that the only way to sneak past it would be to somehow make no sound and go through the trip's area without having made any sound within 1.5s - you can step into the trip AoE and step back and not trigger the trip, but you're unlikely to make it across a well placed trip without having made any sound.

My ideas:
Gravnet 2.0: Hit enemies are slowed (but not crouched). If they don't remove the net before the ability expires, they get stunned.
Sensor 2.0: On detonation, they lay down a sage slow. Sensors pop if they see\hear an enemy or when they're destroyed.
Wall 2.0: No small orbs, health decreased from 1200 to 1000.
Ult 2.0: Identical to the current one, but it's consistent (no enemies randomly getting out alive).

The sensors applying a slow means you could play close to them without getting yourself killed (but you'd still be stuck in the slow, so it's not a no-brainer) and they wouldn't just get you free kills, instead they would stall. Visual detection means they protect flanks and popping when destroyed means they can't be cleared out by a skye dog or something without deadlock getting any value from them.
The gravnet would basically be a throwable cypher trip, and it would work nicely with the trips, since it's the gravnet that would apply stun, which is the stronger effect.
A simplified wall would just be more elegant. The small orbs make it confusing for new players and awkward for everyone.

Gravnet is definitely the one needing the biggest buffs. The way it doesn't work like a traditional molly has really grown on me but the amount of times I've died to a crouched enemy spraying me down as I try to swing them is irritating. Great when used with utility but it simply gets removed far too quickly. I think she needs one of the following options: to purchase a second gravnet grenade, inflict an entirely new effect such as making them unable to shoot their gun until they've removed the net, or double the length of the effect's duration making it crouch for 6 seconds, taking 1.5 seconds to remove.

Sonic Sensor is the one getting the most flak but I personally love the ability. I think it's important it keeps it's sound gimmick. What they need to change is that once you've made sound and triggered the sensor and it becomes visible, you can't break it anymore and it goes off no matter what. There's so many instances where people make sound, then realize the sensor is there and shoot it immediately causing it to do nothing. I also think the placement range should be increased to 20m from it's measly 15m which makes setting up in a postplant quickly difficult and lastly, the ability to pick up the sensor after placing it during the round and place it elsewhere. These small QOL changes would make her sensor so much better and I genuinely don't think it needs to be able to flawlessly hold map control because your wall can already do that.

Speaking of her wall, Barrier Mesh is great as it is. But imagine if you could place her wall down to cover your flank and pick it back up once you've taken site and have it recharge again for you to block off a choke in the postplant. Making it similar to Gekko's Thrash in the sense that you can throw your mesh, pick it up and throw it one more time would be an incredibly welcome buff and maybe put her on par with Cypher and Killjoy in terms of strength. Three uses in a round for free seems far too broken but the idea of you having to play near your wall if you want to pick it up again would be awesome. Of course if the wall is broken or goes unreclaimed within the 30 seconds it exists, you'd lose it for the rest of the round.

Lastly her Ultimate. I don't think it needs any changes except being fixed and not getting caught on dumb shit. If you place, for example, a Sage wall or a KJ turret in front of the cocooned player, it literally prevents them from dying. Otherwise, the flexibility it gives you in making lineups to drag people into the sky to kill them using fall damage and being able to not only pick a single target off but bait the enemy team into peeking to save their buddy is amazing. I agree with extending the range by 5m though, it couldn't hurt.

Deadlock is definitely a character that THRIVES off the creativity of the user and can make some absolutely absurd plays such as fake walls that bait players into breaking a smaller node of the barrier and funnelling into a single choke tripped with both sensors or sensors attached to the ceiling of a choke point, forcing them to look into the sky to break them. I think the small changes I mentioned would make her a phenomenal character. I'm excited to see how Riot handles buffing her :)

Really interesting thoughts, could defo work!
While I was talking to a friend of mine recently, I said that if the gravnet also did an extremely short stun on top of the crouch it would be good. Since I mostly use it to shut down rushes or peek off it in clutch situations, merely making enemies crouch is useless for any of it. But that may be biased bc of my playstyle.
Her trips are definitely underpowered, but I really love your idea with the beeping and agree that they should be much less visible when placed

My Deadlock Rework Idea:

Couple of reasons why Deadlock is not viable:
1. Staller sentinels in general are weak in comparison to other sub-roles of sentinels. They lack map presence and have one-dimensional abilities.
2. Deadlock doesn't have an ability that is strong enough to compensate for her lack of ability to help with taking map control.
3. She either doesn't offer unique value to a team comp or doesn't excel in any specific area in her gameplay to be able to stand out from other sentinels


GravNet (Signature ability):
- Replace Barrier mesh with Gravnet as her signature ability.
- Change it into a rechargeable ability that recharges every 45 seconds.
- Add a sound cue whenever it successfully ensnares enemies. (works similar to how Skye’s flashes gather info).
- Add noise only whenever ensnared enemies walk or use any movement ability.
- Add a vulnerable effect to any enemies that are currently ensnared. The effect will last right after the net has been removed

***Thought process: The reason for changing gravnet to it being rechargeable is a way for DL to still have an ability for post-plant situations without it being too oppressing by her to have 2 of them at the same time. Adding a sound cue and a vulnerability to gravnet encourages teammates to follow through on a well-placed net which makes her executes on attack much better.***


Barrier Mesh:
- The wall should cost 350 credits
- Add a marker on the ground that shows where the wall will land before throwing it and on that marker shows the general direction of its nodes (visually similar to how kids draw a sun).


Sonic sensor:
- Add an effect called "Tether". Once the sensor is triggered it will quickly shoot wires forward and any enemies caught by the blast will be concussed and automatically be tethered to any object, wall, or even an agent that is parallel to the sensor for 4 seconds. Once tethered, enemies will only be able to move 7 meters away from the tethered spot (works similar to Fade's seize ability) however enemies can shoot that spot to free themselves from the tether. Keep in mind that the object, wall, or agent must be in the AoE of that sensor. If there is nothing parallel to the sensor enemies will just be concussed. Also, the concussion effect doesn't go hand in hand with the tether duration.

- Add a "Rearming mechanic". The sensor will not self-destruct once it has been activated. Once it has detonated the sensor will rearm itself for 25 seconds. While rearming, the sensor is completely exposed, vulnerable, and disabled. Also, DL will be unable to pick that sensor up till it is finished rearming. After it has finished rearming it will work like usual.

***Thought process: The tether effect adds more value to her sensors since concussion effects are a bit weak in this game. However, the mechanic is there to balance the ability to prevent it from being too oppressing for the entry duelist who uses movement ability like Jett. The rearming mechanic adds more power to her ability from enemy teams that are lazy, unattentive, and have poor communication when comes to clearing her sensors***.


Annihilation:
Besides an enemy getting reeled in, enemies also caught in the AoE at the endpoint of her ult where a sphere appears will be concussed for 1.5 seconds.

***Thought process: The reason for this change is to prevent her ult from being too situational. This will enable DL to find more situations of using her ult where she can also punish the enemies' poor positioning.***

I love her but oh my god they need to make it so that if the timer on the ult reaches the end you just die. The amount of times I haven’t realized someone I hit got stuck on something before it could reach the end and they ended up getting out and killing someone on my team is ridiculous. I don’t know why it isn’t already that way it would be such an easy fix.

In addition to the buffs according to you.I think her signature wall is amazing considering the fact that you can use lineups. As TenZ mentioned the buff could be the ability to drop the wall whenever we want. and for her gravenet I'd want to add audio cue (if someone get caught) and increase the time a little to remove the net. These small buffs can actually make Big difference and maybe we will see deadlock actively in ranked and pro play.

Gravnet should reveal and vulnerable

sonic sensor should just be faster and have like an activation range where if you're really close it'll activate without a sound

her wall should have an indicator on the ground when you're holding it and remove the center core so it is harder to break

annihilation should active the hitbox a bit faster and if the last person is netted PLEASE insta kill them instead of making me wait

agree overall except for the barrier. i think its too strong and needs a nerf. It shouldnt take me more than a mag of rifle to break the barrier. actually it should take less bullets to break the barrier than the sage wall because its way more safe to break a sage wall than it is to break the barrier since people can shoot through it. its literally so OP on attack if you have site and plant the bomb.

What if iso was buffed:C ablility have 2 wall and Q ability have 3 vulnerable and lastly ult on enemy when they have same hp and shield and iso in ult stay the same

Riot did mention that they will buff her, they said that even though it can take a while for people to realize a characters abilities, people have been desperate for a buff. So we might see a Deadlock buff soon, and considering how Riot Games work, she's gonna end up being broken, since they don't know what's balanced. Either a character is completely broken, or their complete fodder. When they buff a character, they buff the shit out of them. When they nerf a character, they literally point the middle finger to the character and stick it up their @ cuz they completely delete the character from the meta.
