Chinua Achebe: Things Fall Apart

Things Fall Apart is a 1958 novel by the Nigerian author, Chinua Achebe. Achebe was born in 1930, in the southern part of the country when it was under British colonial rule. He excelled at university, and imbibed many of the central literary works of Western culture, though he strongly disapproved of the way certain texts depicted Africa. This review contains spoilers.
