Russian Defence Ministry shows evacuation from Azovstal steel plant

Russian Defence Ministry released video on Friday (May 6), of the ongoing evacuation from besieged Azovstal steelworks in the Ukrainian city of Mariupol.

A statement from the Ministry said that 50 civilians, including 11 children were evacuated during the day.

Ukraine said just 50 civilians were evacuated from a bombed-out steelworks, accusing Russia of violating a truce intended to allow all those trapped beneath the plant to depart after weeks under attacks.

But now their fate is obvious. They either surrender or they die.
