Osterholm would reach a wider audience if he also had condensed summaries or bullet points of these talks. Most people who are working and/or have younger children don't have an hour to listen to this. Scientific communication needs to be BETTER at penetrating the masses than all the nonsense info out there, not the other way around.

I really love the podcast, Michael. Everywhere I go on Reddit all I'm seeing is good news about the vaccinations in the US and UK with very little information about other countries and upcoming challenges. People seem to be letting their guards down, which weren't even that strong to begin with.

This podcast had some very good information for all of to digest and remember as we all go forward with our lives. I have had both vaccine doses and can't help recall how I felt after both. I understand how medicine can enriched our lives and make it possible to live longer. I just wish everyone can be thankful for scientists, healthcare workers and doctors who have worked so hard and sacrificed so much to keep us healthy and alive as I do.

My state is very Republican, we started with 70 and above for 2 months. Old Republicans would much rather die than get a vaccine shot, I would die of old age before they got vaccinated. They lowered the age to 65 and I received my first shot 5 weeks ago.
