Israelis appropriating a popular Palestinian song ‘Dammi Falastini’

Famous Palestinian song "Dammi Falastini" ("My Blood is Palestinian") is being appropriated by Israelis amid Israel’s brutal bombardment of besieged Gaza. Israel has a well-documented history of co-opting Palestinian culture.

Hilarious part of this upside down world we live in, is that the original song has been black listed on Spotify and Apple Music for being Anti-Semitic. When you are corrupt and unjust, you have ridiculous things happen like this. So I expect this song to be black listed as well? But we all know this won’t happen. Extremists and extremism is more prevalent now, because one side has all the power, and the other is powerless, and because there is no justice. It’s not because of their faith, religion or anything else. It’s a natural human reaction to be more susceptible to be extreme when you feel the world is against you. Have hope, Tyranny and Oppression is not forever, there will come a time when the powerless will have power, when that time comes, show those who oppressed you that you are not the same as them, by acting in a just way with them, even thought they oppressed you for years and it will be difficult.
