I know you won't even see my comment, but this is serious issue, bigger than left-right. Honestly, people who don't know enough about this shouldn't be allowed to speak on this topic. You're missing the whole point Misha. Israel is NOT defending itself. They're after innocents, women and children. They aren't after Hamas. The correct thing to say is "There are innocent people from both sides dying, I hope they declare ceasefire as quickly as possible", but noo, instead you support war crimes. I honestly thought you were sane, Misha. I was wrong. You're so outraged by one side, you became blinded, to the level of supporting monstrosities just because it's your side. You just parrot right's agenda, refusing to see what's actually RIGHT.

You really aren't helping with the political divide. You can't disagree with a side on everything. There are UNIVERSAL values, things that should bring people from different views together. The easiest example is: Children are untouchable. Right and left can't even come together at something as simple as this. Such as: "Showing children identity politics and giving them hormonal treatment in an age they can't decide is outrageous." Everyone should agree, but the left generally disagrees with this. Or: "Children shouldn't be targeted at war under any circumstance." The right-wing apparently disagrees with this, because you see lunatics saying "free palestine from the map, this is what muslims teach their kids, why should we give them humanitarian aid?", sometimes you even see religious zealots writing stuff from Torah and Bible, making the conflict a completely religious one. And I'm not even mentioning Ben Shapiro, who openly called for genocide and Jordan "Give them hell" Peterson.

Israel has cut all electric/power supply, threathening the lives of machine-bound patients and premature babies who have nothing to do with war. Israel Defense Minister himself even said "We're fighting human animals*". See? He doesn't even see them as human. Of course he wouldn't care about killing innocent lives and doing this in the most inhumane way possible, because he admitted it himself, he's fighting animals, he sees them as nothing more than animals. Imagine if a Muslim said this instead.
Just because the victim isn't yours, it doesn't make it less tragic. You can't possibly ignore everything Israel is doing. And the media always tries to show Palestine as an extremist terrorist country that beheads women/gays on sight, in reality it's nothing close to that. Because I actually visited Palestine myself, it was a great country with nice people.

You're too caught up in agenda, you're just seeing this as left/right thing, in reality there are an inexplainable amount of innocent lives being lost. You think this is simple side-choosing, when it's too much more complicated. I hoped you could educate yourself a little, or at least try to show yourself neutral for innocent lives' sake. War is never something that should be supported/encouraged. The victims are ignored, just because they're Muslim. The right has disgusted me for this very reason the past few weeks. I'm a Muslim, and I genuinely respect these queers (exclude Hamas praisers) more than any right-wing commentator right now. You don't have to like Palestine, or be a Muslim to acknowledge the shitty treatment they're getting from a country who claims to be modern. Please don’t say supporting Palestine is a bad thing, yes supporting terrorists is of course is a bad thing. However right who’s been killed and suppressed are innocent Palestinians who got nothing to do with terrorists. Its frustrating how everyone feels the immediate need to pledge support to one side or another. Once upon a time there were people who believed in peace. Theres no such thing as black and white. Both sides can do terrible things to each other. No one is in the "right" because there is no "right" until people stop killing each other and begin to live peacefully.

One thing that makes me feel icky is people siding with countries in war. Both countries are killing eachother and doing irreparable damage to each other. Each person states their reasons why the other force is bad, and its mostly the same reasons. 'They're killing us!' Is one that is most used. I don't stand with either forces. What i do stand for, however, is holding both countries to the same standard and condemning the actions of both. Killing is killing no matter the religion, skin color, gender, sexuality, or heritage.
