He went from “we were an amazing happy family & had a great marriage before Natalia” to “my ex wife was the devil & Natalia was a victim”

Stephanie Harlowe did a deep dive on this case!
Many doctors agreed that she was just a child...Her Mother who gave her up for adoption in her mother country has also given her true age. She absolutely was a child!
Natalia's disabilities were too expensive for these scumbags and they didn't want her anymore....it's hellish and abhorrent how they treated her!

This man absolutely disgusts me. His overdramatized recount of events is infuriating.
This poor disabled CHILD being left in an apartment to fend for herself so the parents could shake off some responsibility, makes me physically ill.
The neighbors bad mouthing her for seeking their companionship, makes me physically ill.

Their autistic biological son is so confused and his entire foundation has been built on deception and trauma. I wish I could hug them both and take their trauma away. The fact that these “parents” were not crucified in court is beyond disappointing.

My daughter had Precocious puberty and develop pubic hair at 2, but thankfully didn't get her period early too... we had to take her to Stanford for testing then they told us to monitor her and return if it got worse. With that said the youngest mother on record was 5 years 7 months old... I wouldn't recommend reading her story.

One thing I noticed is how much more unhinged he seemed to be during the second interview. The part where he started punching the ground was honestly haunting. He’s obviously psychologically unwell

Kids pick up everything adults are saying. I’m sure they talked about it in front of her - saying she wasn’t a child and posing as one. If she puffed her cheeks out on purpose maybe it’s because she was a scared child thinking she’d be given away again. That doesn’t prove anything to me. These people are horrible. The whole bathroom incident forcing a child to show her naked body to people the first night she was with them is so abusive and traumatizing. It actually hurts me to think of what this child experienced.

I started puberty at 7 had my 1st period at 9 years old. Im now 48 years old and gone through menopause. Not everyone develops the same.
I firmly believe Natalia was a child at the point of adoption, she had multiple physical deformities which could mean that she had a different sized head. Im no doctor so dont come for me.
She also had a very traumatic life for her very young age, which she may have learned to adapt and behave how her carer's wanted her to.

The way so many people used her being overly sexual as a reason for her probably being older was so weird to me. Like many children who have been sexually abused are hyper sexual as a trauma response. Also the whole language thing? I grew up in Germany speaking German from 10 months to 4 years. By the time I was 8 the German was GONE. So I think it’s understandable that she wouldn’t know Ukrainian anymore

I think the way she’s aged over the last decade is all the proof needed. Adults don’t age that way, children do.

How creepy that youre 6 years old... first bath and your step father is called in, and he stares at your naked body.... I'm beyond disturbed. Like talk about trauma

As someone with multiple chronic conditions in childhood, and who also had parents who disbelieved all reported symptoms, this man makes my stomach turn. He says they've been taking her to doctors. Have they asked any of them about her age? About what circumstances might be causing her early puberty? There are many reasons that could happen, including severe emotional trauma. There are also very serious possible physical causes, like tumors or endocrine problems. I'm saddened that this guy seems to have dismissed any possible medical cause from the moment he saw her pubic hair.

Please, continue this series.

PLEASE CONTINUE YOUR OBSERVATION OF HIM AND THIS FAMILY. NATALIA DESERVES IT

He has an excited vibe that doesn't match up with the heaviness and weight of the story or circumstances. Definitely seems rehearsed.

Just a note, that the agency they claim contacted them, denies that they initiated contact with the Barnett's, or that they gave any kind of deadline to the Barnett. They said the Barnett's came to them and there was no timeline.

Michael Barnett is an absolute storyteller. I’m honestly surprised he’s not a pastor or something. He works really hard at making people believe what he says which makes it very disengenuous. I don’t believe anything he says except that Christine was awful.

Can we talk about the fact they made their OWN conclusions and not once consulted a doctor to discuss her development?

That alone tells me plenty.

How traumatizing for that poor little girl. She meets these people for less than 24 hours and they get her naked and start yelling and screaming and pointing out her private parts??

This was one of the wildest docuseries I’ve ever seen. I appreciate your analysis and would absolutely watch more.

I can’t even finish watching this interview. So disgusted by this self-absorbed man thinking it’s ok to do this to a child - not forget discuss this child’s health with the world. But he wants us to feel sorry for HIM? I am glad Natalia is finally able to tell her side of the story instead of the Barrett’s dominating the headlines.

Never heard someone describe their OWN home as a McMansion. Like, does he think it's a flex to say "I live in a McMansion"?
