Denbrock’s offense protected his OL and purposely played it safe on the road. In fact, I would bet this is the youngest, most inexperienced line in football this year. To hold serve with TAMU’s DL speaks volumes about their possible ceiling.

Top 3 defense. Top 3 secondary. This is NOT the Brian Kelly ND with 1 or 2 good athletes and no depth. Now we have loads of athletes and amazing depth.

very good breakdown, couldnt agree more that the more reps this team gets together, the more the qb and wide receiver timings get ironed out, the more the o-line progresses this year the scarier ND will be this year. ND's defense is just scary already and will continue to be so.

Aside from the holding penalties i was proud of the way a very green o-line held up for them on the road in that environment. They can only get better with more reps and work. The d-line could be a bit less jumpy lol. Secondary, immaculate. Pass game is a work in progress.

To add to JDs point about Leonard, it's worth remembering he hasn't played a competitive game since October. Riley looked much better second half especially 4th quarter as he got into a rhythm and he should only improve more over the next month.

All my trolling aside notre dame didn’t play a very good/ clean game and still won, that’s what good teams do. But they can’t keep going for 10+ penalties that’s got to get cleaned up.
