Another thing to note, when you land on the race track, be sure not to go where the finishing line is and follow the direction the boost with the arrows are facing. (Don't go backward basically) as that will automatically put you in a race.

I did a little calculation
If you keep pressing for a minute you'll get 700/750 Bolts
So basically in one hour you'll get 42'000 Bolts and if you want to get the RYNO you'll need to wait around 3 hours and a half

you can also wear your hologuise gadget, and be the robo disguise before entering the hoverboard races on planet rilgar. you need to be wearing it even when entering with the triangle button. then you have entered the race track the same way as flying to it. you walk to the same platform of boxes and do your thing. but make sure to do it all in one go, into the track and collect the bolts as long as possible, as doing the glitch again makes the boxes disappear.

Only played a handful of games when I was a kid, all on Nintendo. Just got a PS2 and Ratchet and Clank is the first game I’m playing on it.

The game has been a blast but this workaround was so fun to execute. It’s my first time exploiting a loophole in a game like this and I like that it doesn’t necessarily feel like ‘cheating’. It’s not just punching in a code and getting infinite bolts, you still have to work for it and leave your console running quite a while.

just a thing if i spend bolts does it still keep the progress for the 1 million bolt trophy or do i have to have 1 million bolts in hand without have spending anything?

I'm getting A LOT MORE BOLTS, like 30/40 bolts every second doing it on the stream version of the game.

My hypotesis is that it's because i'm on PS5 so the boxes are spawning a lot faster

There’s just one problem. When you’re nearing the end of the game, and you go back to Rilgar to bolt farm those boxes on the top ramp for whatever reason don’t spawn in.

Or you could just alternate between redoing Quartu, Drek’s Fleet, and Hoven.

(Quartu gives you 2-3 thousand bolts if you leave the enemies alive until the part with Giant Clank)
