i literally started crying when they announce that brewster is coming back. he is my favorite and i considered him my best friend on wild world. i understand that new players may not like him or find him boring, but the roost has always been a very relaxing place. yesterday i was trying to explain to my friends that are non animal crossing fans and now with your video i can give them a better answer. i'm just a little disappointed that he doesn't get his own place outside of the museum, but non the less i'm hapy he is back. sorry for my broken english, is not my first language.

To me, Brewster and The Roost represent the very heart and soul of the original Animal Crossing games, a place to relax and escape from the burdens and loneliness of real life, as well as build relationships and learn about the villagers. So I couldn't be happier that he's finally returning after so long.

5:08 oh the old good times, i really miss when there weren't competitions about who has the best aesthetic island. but anyways, i'm so happy brewster will finally be in this game and what if there will be some more? it's a direct so i don't think they'll do a whole direct to just announce one thing, we'll see :)

The fact that this is an entire direct makes me think they'll fix a lot of the issues the community has with the game. Now that the holidays are out of the way maybe they'll focus on gameplay. The roost alone fixes a lot of issues, and seeing that there's data to suggest that villagers will be able to visit our houses (this is data is so complete that someone was able to mod the feature into the game)...Maybe they'll add some more soul into the game with a 2.0 update soon.

In my mind, I never suspected they were just DONE with the game. That would be a horrible financial choice. When they released that teaser, sure, I screamed like a pig, but I wasn't too surprised. So glad he's returning with other features hopefully too!

I cried when i heard the roost music, I used to stay there a lot in wild world as it felt so comforting which is what animal crossing means to me as it was only place I could escape too. I'm so happy he's going to be returning and now it feels like it really is an animal crossing game to me. I hope new players find the same serene support I did many years ago from brewster ❤️

I am literally crying. I listened to you and the tears just started to swell up because you spoke really from my heart. This is what makes Brewster and so much about AC so special and as much as I adore and love New Horizons, the game lost a bit of that magic through all the cuts that were made to NPCs. I can't wait for Brewster to finally be back and go there to drink a coffee and meet friends. Thank you for this video. It really touched me.

As my first game of animal crossing being ACNH, I completely understand why Brewster is so important to old players, thank you for clearing this up Lou Lou! And I thought that the roost was going to have a building but I prefer it in the museum because of Brewster and blathers friendship, I’m so excited to experience the roost for the first time. I also think the Celeste may have a place in a museum too on the right side upstairs. I hope that Brewsters dialogue is good, and I love the niece idea!

This genuinely makes me want to cry in a good way, when I was little my mom and I would play wild world together on our pink ds and I would always go to the roost and just listen to the music that plays in there. It was kinda my favorite part about the game. My mother passed away years ago and I just listened to the song after forgetting about it for a while and it has never felt so comforting, like Shes there listening with me, and now to have it in new horizons I can only imagine how peaceful it will be again. I’m sure my mother would be happy to have him back too haha :)

thanks. this is honestly my first game. I hope to enjoy Brewster as well. he sounds so wholesome and I'll probably be in the roost a lot once it's in the game. I really appreciate those who have had the chance to play all the games teaching us newbies about all the old NPCs and such. I’m so glad they added Brewster. I got bored of a new Horizons and tried the other games and have been loving New Leaf and Wild World I can’t wait to see Brewster in New Horizons

I love this video so much and agree completely! You're so right when you say Brewster embodies the spirit of old animal crossing- it's like a second home of sorts. Newer players have only experienced New Horizons, which is a bit soulless compared to the other ones. I wonder if they see it as a decoration game with the characters as a bonus?

But really, I hope that with this new update, they'll introduce more characters and bring back a part of that soul and sense of community that was in the other games. I really want the newer players to get to feel this, the special element that can almost change your life. I'll never forget or get over my love for Animal Crossing, so I hope this new update will give newer players the same feeling too :0

I cannot wait for him to be back, I really missed him so much, he’s the sweetest man. I’m also hoping since we got some of the food items villagers had from the august fireworks, that we might be able to get some more from his cafe! I’d love to have the little donuts the other villagers have, and it’d really suit the coffee shop!

Omggg I screamed yesterday when I was watching the Nintendo Direct! And my husband was like "what happened!!!?" "Brewster is comming back to ACNH!!!"
