You are a freaking lifesaver !!! i was struggling for a whole night, my card was fine when i was connecting it with card reader on my PC but i was having this error endlessly !! Scary part is i had my old stock card that came with the camera, that was also triggering same error ! when i almost lost my hope, i saw this video.. i didnt have WD40 but i had ethyl alcohol ! that pushing in and out several times really saved my life and for at least 30$ !!

This works. If you don’t have WD-40, just rubbing the clothes metal part of the card with your t-shirt is good. Thank this man for this post though. It works, as long as other devices can read the card—this works.

I just did it and it worked!!! I was gonna my Cannon M50 and smash it on the cement, this happened with every freaking card, stay away from Canon!

Could be ok to spray contact cleaner directly inside the card slot?
Then insert and eject the card several timea. Then wait until contact cleaner evaporate

bro the music was scarry but ı fixed my camera. it seems connector bins on the sd card slot has been coroded a little. inserting and ejecting the card coused friction ın the pins and they got cleaned . you are a lafe saver. :D
