My son required a life saving operation when he was six weeks old. The surgeon was Sterling Blocker, Dan Blocker's cousin. His hands were the size of his cousin's "Hoss." I was amazed such large hands performed such a delicate surgery on such a tiny patient. He had a similar outgoing personality that immediately put me at ease. The surgery was a major success.

This is looking inside my father's head. My dad lived for this show. However it did give us great morals to live by. Thank you so much for bringing this back to me.

I thank the home owners for being so gracious for allowing you to bring us into the most beloved home lots of us grew up in via the watching Bonanza. And thank you so much for sharing your time in bringing this with us.

When Bonanza started I was 9 years old and the whole family became instant fans. We never missed it! It started on Saturday nights but moved to Sunday nights after a year or so. It became a Sunday night institution in our house! As soon as Ed Sullivan show was over, we ran to the set and switched that dial to NBC! (No remote controls in those days.) When I was 16 my family took a long-anticipated drive across the country - from Virginia to California and back. My dad was a HUGE fan of westerns and we checked out any and every place we could find ever mentioned in a western tv show or movie. Bonanza was #1 in that search. He would have LOVED seeing this place! I want to add my name to the others thanking the owners for preserving this place and then allowing you to share it with us. It's fabulous!

Great tour, thanks Jordan. And a BIG BIG thanks to the Ponderosa II owners for sharing their beautiful home. Bonanza was a huge part of my childhood.

I watched the show with my grandfather in the 70s, and fell in love with this house. I still watch re-runs of the show everyday...lol. and the Ponderosa ranch house is still my dream home !

Another great video. I was a little kid when Bonanza was originally on TV, we watched it every Sunday night. A great memory for me. Thank you.

I just watched part of another video of the replica of the town & ranch house in Lake Tahoe, but becoming very 😢 sad when I learned it was sold to a developer & torn down, I left. I am Very Happy to have found this, & am happy Lorne Greene built this one, & the current owners are treating it with love & respect. Thank you for sharing!

I remember watching Bonanza curled up with my blanket sucking my thumb and watching this great show with my dad drinking orange pops. My mom wasn't into Westerns really, so I shared this special TV time with my dad. I got teary eyed watching this.. A very enjoyable vlog.

I am so glad the house has been so well taken care of. That show meant so much to me as a kid and in life. Shows like that teach young people how to live good and truthful. Thank you Mr Green and Parnell, Dan, and Michael for such wonderful times and memories. Dan was a big hero when I was little
