Said it before will probably say it again...this is the most special thirty seconds or so of electric guitar ever recorded. It's the best guy on his best day.

The section between 16-18 seconds is insane. NO ONE ever gets this bit. Listen to it on 0.75 speed. Absolute madness. There's a million covers of this and NO ONE ever gets the nuance of this solo correct. This 20 plus seconds of guitar is so dripping in nuance that I can barely get my mind around it. I can't anyway. All things considered, I'd class this as the greatest piece of electric guitar playing ever. The zenith. And I'm not even a EVH 'fan' per se. But this is an absolutely otherworldly display that is beyond comprehension.
