This always makes me think of my Grandmother.
She wasn't my grandma by blood. When I was born both my parents were active-duty military (USN & USMC Corpsmen) and she lived nextdoor. Her and her husband were grandparents to me and helped to raise me alongside her blood granddaughter who was only a month older than me.
She was so loving but wild, she helped build me.
