Minelab Manticore Update Procedure - Walkthrough

The update is now available for the Minelab Manticore Metal Detector. This is a walkthrough of the update process. Some new features have been added to the Manticore especially helpful while detecting in sites contaminated with lots of iron and nails. Overview:

Stabilser - All-Terrain Multi IQ - Reduces Falsing on Iron in heavy iron sites with mild ground mineralization - Adds a Tonal Nuance to Iron to help distinguish good targets from Iron - Not recommended in normal conditions. Can only be used while in Multi-IQ and in an All-Terrain Search Mode.

Stabilser Filter - Makes the Audio Weaker and Thinner on Targets affected by Stabiliser

Red Target ID - All Metal Mode Only - Target ID is red if Iron is detected

New Options in the Softkey Menu:
Speaker Mute/Unmute
Search Mode
Recovery Speed
Frequency
Sensitivity Boost
Clear ID Map
Flashlight ON/OFF
Display Brightness

Goldfield Mode – Fixed an issue with small gold sensitivity & discrimination depth. All Audio Themes are now available in Goldfield Mode

Beach Mode - Ground Balance has been improved for dry sand. Default Recovery Speed in Beach Low Conductors and Beach Deep have been increased to 4

Audio Boost for Underwater Headphones

Default settings for Tone Pitch for Targets IDs in the Coke range changed from 2 to 1 in All Terrain Fast, All Terrain Low Conductors and All Terrain High Conductors

UI Languages support added under General Settings (Czech and Hindi added, minor updates to other languages)

I had the exact same issue with headphone usb-c cable. Guess I was careless with the cable and had put it in the "junk drawer" with all my other charging cables. Luckily, I found it on third attempt. Oher than that, pretty straight forward. Thanks!

Just a heads up for the non-tech guys like me, Downloading it wont start the update. You have to open the download. No problems after that. Thanks for the video!

After I upgraded to newest software I lost depth, could not see a silver dime at 4” tried every setting, had hard time seeing 10k ring at 4”, I’ve notice iam not the only one that has had this issue after new software, after taking with minelab techs they got me to send to there repair facility for repair or replace, only had it for 5 days, had a ctx3030 before this so iam familiar with the minelab setups

Dont remember if you mentioned it but you have to turn your detector on after plugging into computer.

Hi. I updated the manticore, I am having the problem with it not finding the headphones. I have only used it a couple times and kept the cable in the headphone box, any other ideas? Thanks

Struggling with the update
Downloaded fine but no stabiliser option only 2 options in ferrous limits
Tried deleting and reinstalling update several times
Tried reinstalling old update and reinstalling new but no joy
Using clean original cables
Minelab shows it’s updated but still no stability option

I had the same issue as Mr Sweet. I feel so stupid. You have to double click and start the update FIRST. It is not automatic. Oh the pain of being 57
