I'm a smaller channel and have been on and off of YT for 10+ years. This is demotivating, however I am grateful for the amount I've learnt in this time and I know my videos are so much better now than they were before. Negativity will get you nowhere and you always must keep the heart in it for why you started in the first place, for me it's making people laugh. Heck we could all do with some positivity and happiness in our lives! <3

The one thing I don't agree with is Using YT as a storage for video. YT deliberately compress's the quality which in turn degrades it. As a gaming streamer I have tried to use my Live Stream VODs to create shorts but the quality is shit when played back as a VOD. The only way to get my shorts to be on the same level as uploaded video's or my live streams (when live) is to record locally for later editing.
