Coordinate Systems

In this video, we walk through some examples of the meaning of the standard coordinate system and notation in linear algebra and discuss the meaning of coordinates in other bases with illustrations in R^2. Then we use matrix operations to transform coordinate systems from the standard basis in a non-standard basis, transform one non-standard basis into a second non-standard basis, and consider orthogonal bases and methods for finding coordinates using dot products.
