Almost an annual tradition now to film the annual floods near to my home. This one much nearer to home than last years video. This is the 2013 Christmas and boxing day flooding in Byfleet and Brooklands. This road was reopened on the afternoon of the 27th.

Reminds me of when this happened in the early 70's when i lived in the village aged about 10 - but water was nowhere as high as in your film!  Did the canal flood as well?

Furthermore where I am now we got winds ..hardly any rain..and not any problems..Its so localised..

Where our family used to live Eastworth Road Chertsey..every time there was heavy rain across the Road ..down about 6 foot was the River Bourne..regular incursions across just our climate in one of it, s varied turns..I suppose.
