CUBASE PRO 9: MISSING PLUGINS - TIP

Check out my tip on re-enabling missing plug-ins on Cubase Pro 9. Apparently, Cubase Pro 9 doesn't inherit the previously added plug-in path from the older versions. Unless the plug-in is blacklisted, you can just re-add the missing VST plug-in path. ;) Hope that helps.

Any 32 bit plug-in will be blacklisted, even if it's Kontakt. Thanks for the tip!

Regards!! All my vst´s are erased since I upgrade to 9.0.10. There are NO vst anywhere. Do you have another solution?

You'd think Cubase would bring up a pop-window prompting for a scan of your plugins from previous versions upon first opening of the application for people upgrading from a previous version of Cubase (like 5 for me). We shouldn't have to manually figure out where to rescan stuff.

It didn't change a thing. All of my Native Instruments plugins are still blacklisted and all I get is a message for each VST scan saying "A timeout may have occurred Check if the the plugin is displaying a message or click "Cancel" to put on the blacklist." (my only option). The VST folder paths are all correct and pointed in the right place. All work beautifully in Ableton Live 9 Suite. Not much I can do with Cubase if I don't have Kontakt. I've got dozens of orchestral libaries, etc...so I'm screwed.
