I find the men who cheer on the “legal” or illegal of their countries particularly repulsive. It goes against every instinct and basic intuition to protect your family your home and your people.

This was a great discussion. I'm so glad the NCF came up with this for us.

Entire cities have been emptied of British people, luxury beliefs can and will lead to a destruction of a civilization.

The now is always more important then the future, and so it goes broke.

"Luxury beliefs". Brilliant concept Rob. And well done of getting a doctorate from Cambridge without being driven off or silenced or cancelled.

Fascinating but whereas at one time symbols of wealth and status were envied and aspired to by the lower middle classes, those who claim today's luxury beliefs are massively despised and scorned by patently superior thinkers.

We could start simply by not discouraging family as a way for finding meaning. We do the opposite in countless ways, demeaning the role of mothers in the home is perhaps the most dishonest, cruel, counter-productive and wrong.

The poor always pay for the mistakes of the rich. There's never been a time when the rich haven't had luxury beliefs, some of which are still playing out in the geopolitical world around us, for example Eugenics is definitely a luxury belief that overshadowed most of the late 19th and Early to mid 20th Century. It's a dangerous idea that permanently changed the course of European civilization and culture. Woke in it's present incarnation is definitely a luxury belief as it's most common in our leadership and anywhere that the middle classes serve them, such as within the government, civil service and the institutions of the country. How do you show that you're a good dog, and as such suitable for promotion in such an environment, well you sycophantically say all of the same things that the people at the top do in order to show that you are one of them whether you believe it or not. The trouble is, that by the time you get anywhere near high office, you actually believe it, having indoctrinated yourself along the way. Keep your conscience clean and never submit to something that is patently false, wrong or immoral, that's how we defeat these luxury beliefs by not giving them any mental traction.

Yes indeed. "Gary Lineker" was what I found myself nodding to.
I suggest the editor of The Spectator is another fine example.

Those on noisy pro-immigration protest marches should ALL be forced to take an illegal immigrant into their home...

"I don't have room" is not to be accepted as an excuse...

Great discussion. Very interesting concept. I would say you missed two obvious and clear examples - homelessness and Net Zero. Especially Net Zero which is a whole umbrella of policies that hugely impact the lower classes

I sometimes wonder if the politicians are allowing mass migration, because they are not allowed to address the issue of the lack of people having children in the UK. I'm an immigrant so it's something I wonder about.

It's a pity Rob Henderson murmurs so softly when he speaks. It makes him quite difficult to follow.
