That could also just be spots where the sponge material is much thinner than the other areas like tiny air pockets. Either way it’s best to keep your beauty blenders clean.

When I first started doing my makeup I had no idea you had to clean beauty blenders and I grew a giant patch of mold in my beauty blender and didn’t even realize it for like months until my cousin came over and saw how dirty my blenders were and we washed them and the orange beauty blender had like this huge splotch of green in it 😅

This is how to get mold off of it first you wash it with soap and water and then scrub it and then put makeup remover on it.
