After so many years of not being able to be yourself was his flaw. She was an open book, not always easy but honest. She continuously challenged her husband to express himself. When he finally had the courage it was the end of the relationship. Many men only dare after they have found a new love. Children are always victims in the end, sooner or later. Wonderful film.

Love this movie. Jamie her son has such a big heart. He loves his parents and doesn’t judge. I just feel people shouldn’t involve their kids so much when there is a divorce. He was in the middle. Still, beautifully written ❤❤❤❤

Great film, but the only correction from me: The demoniacal Phrase" Before were 3 unhappy people, but now only 1" is not true. It is still 2 unhappy people left: Grays and her son. It is basically one more unhappy person who appeared to be, what makes a big difference. Traumas must go on through generations instead to be stopped? Great play from a horrible story!

Reminded me of Trollope's novel Marrying the Mistress

Well acted film about a browbeaten old guy who leaves his shrill, demanding wife for his side piece. The grown son was caught in the middle but wanted both parents to be happy. 2 things kind of bothered me: 1) the score sounded too much like Downton Abbey theme song and 2) we never got to see the old guy enjoying happiness with the side piece, they just kept saying they were happy. And it left me wondering, were they? Overall I thought it was very good.
