Agree with the last part too and ive seen it articulated this way: Ne/Si likes organized environment so they can explore ideas and experiences for the inspiration of ideas. Ni/Se likes organized mind so they can play in the sensory world. Simple but covers most of it nicely. This is my theory on why Si users don't have this impending constant desire to travel super often or go on rollercoasters to feel alive. Most I know make their fun in their direct community. Se users tend to constantly need new experiences and to push physical boundaries (high Se) to try at least everything once. It fascinates me as an Si user because sometimes Idk how they find joy in basic experiences. Si-Methodical/tactful Se- what plan? Just grab a hammer

Here is the summary:-
1. Ni and Ne are concerned with theorical ideas more than the practical and concrete reality.
2. Ni users are interested in bringing ideas together while Ne users are interested in pulling ideas in various directions.
3. Ne users are interested in seeing their ideas grow while Ni users are more goal oriented.
4. Ne likes chaos in ideas while Ni users likes clarity in direction.
5. Ne-Si prefers stability in concrete while Ni-Se prefers stability in the abstract world.

Intuition is a perceiving function that sees an information as how it forms a bigger picture.

In terms of it being extroverted or introverted, it goes down to how you act on the information based on what it can be (Pe) or how you react on the information based on what you interpret a situation can become. (Pi)

For Ni it is your own interpretation (reaction) on how the information fits your idea of the bigger picture. What you assume what situation can happen based on what the situation meant and how it can potentially create the next situation.

For Ne it is the concept or ideas that are instilled in the information on what an idea can emerge externally. What an idea can do to form a bigger perspective of external information. For that to be known, an (act) of engaging through these ideas by creating, combining or trying is key to see the bigger picture.

One reduces to to its simplest form or (to convolute further) the least common denominator whilst the other tries to expand from the simplest element into the farthest stretch?

I loved your concluding idea. I sense the truth in it but would feel a little more secure in some concrete credentials. As an INFJ, I have never been able to relate to my extroverted sister, and this has caused us to be at a complete loss with each other during some of the most crucial moments of our lives. I would like to draw nearer to her in the our later decades. Thank you.

I'm an INFJ and my wife is an ENFJ. Both of us are at a point where we are learning a lot about ourselves, our strengths and weaknesses and our needs. We have some issues communicating, like she always reads way deeper into something I say, when I did not mean anything other than exactly what I said. She gets aggravated that I don't live with my emotions on my sleeve, like as in she doesn't see my emotions enough as if I'm a robot, whereas all of her emotions are put out into the universe. I'm not sure how to overcome these things which seem simple but are very big issues of contention for us. Are there any tips for INFJ+ENFJ harmony?
