I’ve played Duck hunt on the Wii with my Wii blaster and it’s just not the same . I love the feel and the sound it makes when firing an actual NES zapper . I remember when I got into NES games in 2012 and the my first time I tried to play duck hunt on an HD TV.I had 2 zappers, an orange one and a gray one, I thought they were both broke honestly, and I was relieved when I figured that they only work on CRT TVs. Sounds like a bunch of people are really dedicated to making this a reality which is great news. I really did enjoy this video Candi, keep up the great work !

So happy that Light Guns are coming back and that you did not reference the Wiimote as a Light gun. A true Light gun uses the TV as the actual target and not a sensor bar. I really hope there is a universal fix soon. I want to play Elemental Gearbolt on a 55 inch tv.

Awesome coverage! I believe Polymega is also working on a light gun solution.

Nice video. I'm still hoping this will become a reality as I love playing my light games but fear the day my CRTs bite the dust.

Let’s hope the light doesn’t fade in the future!

I would like to be able to switch the inside of a modern zapper that will work on a LCD TV with a stock NES zapper. Without any other modifications or add-ons.
