Which works best, DIY or Cheap Soda Blaster? I needed a soda blaster for one of my projects and decided to make one with things I had laying around. I have a few clips that show how to put one together, but found that getting it just right became a challenge. I got one to work but the DIY soda blaster left a bit to be desired.
So I bought a cheap soda blaster on line and did a comparison and review to see how it would perform as compared to the DIY soda blaster. Along with a bag of bicarbonate of soda, I got some interesting results. See the results for yourself!
To be honest, I'm not sure how I ever got things done without a soda blaster. Whether you are stripping paint, cleaning metal or old carburetors, even stripping wood furniture a soda blaster is indispensable.
The beauty of the simpler soda blasters is that the can handle a variety of media, sand, garnet, soda, or even aluminum oxide are all suitable media that can be used.
