Worked well initially but was disappointed to see lack lustre performance over time, this C500 is a waterproof upgrade over my existing C200 and yet this feels like a much older product due to its poor performance and response times. Has RTSP and is IP certified for water protection, but does not impress.

Disable hardware acceleration in advanced settings to get rid of lag! 💡Just bought a C500 and experience the same problem. It's definitely not a signal issue, I still have it next to the router. Played around in settings and discovered this easy fix. Don't know yet if it has any drawbacks.

Greetings from France. I purchased mine from Amazon and will be receiving it tomorrow. I bought it with the purpose of watching an injured stray cat I kept in my garage. He is under medication. Do you think it can detect animals? I got hedgehogs coming into my garage looking for their prepared meals, before hibernating. The tutorial was EXCELLENT and everything was explained slowly and in FULL DETAIL, CONGRATULATIONS, wowww that was a life saver. I had a camera in my garage but it didnt work after 7 months.
