🌟FREE 30 Minute Lightroom Essentials Course For YOU🌟

In this week’s episode, we discuss the perfect landscape photography filters? I've been using filters from early on throughout my journey with photography and one of the biggest issues I've had with them, is not the quality of the filters themselves, rather the time it takes to install them when you're on-location. Lets face it, when conditions are rapidly unfolding before you, the last thing you want to do is mess about with filters, trying to strap them onto the end of your lens. And from my experience, when things aren't easy to use, you don't use them and when things are easy to use, you use them! I hope you enjoy this week's video and as always thanks so much for watching! - Mark D.

Mark, this was an excellent video. I didn't realize Nisi wasn't magnetic so this definitely gives me something to think about as a migrate away from my Nisi filter holder system I've been using for years. No question it's always been kind of a pain to use.

I only look for new filter systems if my current system is not working efficiently and effectively and currently that is not the case. I am using the Kase K100 K-8 system and have been for a few years with no issues and no color cast concerns. The magnetic polarizer is my favorite polarizer, so far and no sweat attaching the slide in holder or slide in grad filters. I am satisfied completely at this time. Thanks for sharing

I used to use NISI filters, but when they got a name for themselves, the price went way up on par with Lee and other big name brands. I moved to Haida because I wasn't happy with the colour cast of the other filters and even when stacked I find little to no colour cast as for convenience yes those NISI filters look the business but I'm not going to change my lenses anytime this decade to all Nikon Z mount glass for my Z8, so I'll be sticking with my Nano pro Haida M150 filters that fit my Nikon 14-24mm f2.8 g and the adapter for the 77mm thread other lenses.

Good tips, although, I am a little concerned. I saw a note from someone named Jim from NISI who stated that magnets can dirty in the field due to soils have iron. He said that the magnets are hard to clean. Kind of concerned as I just bought a Jetmag Pro cinema kit that is magnetic. I wonder if I should return the Jetmag kit.

Looks very similar to KASE REVOLUTION FILTERS, but it's magnetic function. I think this would be better.

Doesn’t seem good if you have pre focused an external zoom lens.
