Best Sorceress build guide Lightning Conduit Ball Lightning Warp Archmage PoE2

I took down notes for anyone who finds it helpful:

Support: Ball Lightning (Scattershot, Unleash, Mobiliy, Arcane Tempo)
*doesn't deal any damage itself

Lightnight warp (Magnified Effect, Overcharge, Glaciation)
*Casted on ball lightning and can deal big damage on its own

CoF: Lightning Conduit, considered casting, energy retention, impetus
*more triggers, less dmg than pre nerf

Lightning Conduit (Rising tempest, super critical, concnetrated effect)
*cast on bosses

Archmage (Lightning, clarity 10 spirit)
100 spirit needed

Sigil of power (ingenuity, second wind)
mana tempest (pre meditation)
hypothermia (heightened curse, focused curse)

Remember this does cold damage instead of lightning damage


Ascendancy: Strike Twice, biggest damage here

8 jewel sockets - most damage taken before life (16%)
Magnitude of shock is strong, cold damage, cast speed

Optional weapon swap
first swap increased area of effect
second is crit damage bonus

Thanks for this. Saved my build. I'm doing something a liiittle bit different than you (rocking MoM/EB/CI) and I was really struggling. Finally made the push for spirit gear and things are a lot better now. I rock inspiration on lightning warp to fix the mana problems. Sitting at 3500mana 680 regen and it's relatively stable. Have blink on my weapon swap for the real oh-shit moments and I'm cruising through tier 12-14s.
Having a lot of trouble freezing bosses though. Previously I was using three dragons instead of call of the brotherhood and I'm honestly considering swapping back. You get waaaay more freezes on bosses with that setup.

Are you sure Call of the Brotherhood actually works with Archmage? In PoE 2 they changed how conversions and extra damage as works and it's now done "simultaneously", which suggests you might be converting the initial damage from the skill to cold, but the Archmage still adds more lightning afterwards. I'm not saying you're wrong, just have you checked?
