Hey friend, Diablo has always been close to my heart since the release of the original D2. Back then as pre teen I had no clue about skilling and rune words, let alone faster recovery speed tiers... You gave me a whole new appreciation for a childhood core memory. And is it happens to be, the same friend who I played D2 with in the late 90s, is also enjoying this wonderful classic anew!

I started with a cold spell sorceress but I enjoyed the lightning spells so much that I started putting more points into skills like chain lightning. I might respec later.

It’s an expensive build for sure, but boy is it fun to play. The AOA damage is comical. Lighting, weave in a couple of chain lightnings, and watch the screen melt. I found it particularly satisfying for farming pits, arcane sanctuary, and worldstone keep/Baal.

Great info, appreciate the video, so sorry for the complaining thats coming lol. My light sorc can barely farm Hell without infinity. Lightning just sort of tickles bosses. I can clear trash pretty well but champions and bosses are quite a struggle. Speccing into Blizzard and the game opens up a lot. How the heck are people farming up 2 ber runes for Infinity? Kinda feels like I can't play what I want without farming thousands of hours for runes, since every class guide that isnt sorc on the planet says get an enigma. By the time you farm all these runes what is there left to do in the game lmao

hah funny you mentioned the Mana burn noticed i'd go from full to nothing instantly XD. Good to know it's a bug hopefully they fix it.

been watching a few videos from you by now. they are really good but i think they lack the practical aspect. it seems very dry and theoretical. like here bolt, lightning and chain lightning alls maxed on 20.. which one to use? when to use? show it a bit in battle… it will break up the theory, get more entertaining and better explained. another example: paladin builds… i beat the game about 20 years ago also with a paladin (incl. hell) and i did not give a single thought about this modern way of analyzing and optimizing builds. now i want to try play a paladin in resurrected again… i was baffled that the paladin has a thousand auras but can only use one (active) at a time. i was lost how to play this… do i switch auras constantly? you also mentioned the resistance auras do a passive buff… i don’t see any passive buffs on my chara by just putting points in it and the description also writes “when active”. how does it work how do you actually play with it? thx man. all the best.

I don't have soj, run 3 piece Tals, hoto, grif. had to chuck on frost burns to help with mana, but still running out. any advice?
