Just out of interest,

How many Indian postgraduate students willingly return to India? The majority I met (I supervise MSc students) are desperate to stay in the UK. Or anywhere other than India.

Massive contrast to Chinese students, a large portion (majority fact) return to China. They have the industry and scale to retain talent, and pay them a good salary.

For all the people who are interested in working at some software company, let me tell you a trend which I have observed. I saw a pattern on Linkedin which suggested that they don't prefer candidates which require visa sponsorship at all. No matter how good you are a lot of companies are going to ask you if you need a visa sponsorship in future, which you would even if you don't need it right after college and on that basis they are mostly going to reject you. Visa Sponsorship is a tricky business and this is something which everyone hides from you. It's true for UK, Australia and many other countries. So don't fall for it.

The reason for companies not hiring intentional students anymore comes mainly to concerns over students like me who have lived in the uk since their childhood. And many of my peers were unable to get jobs as the numbers of international students made it hard for locals to find jobs and the government has launched programmes to allow its citizens to get jobs first, as if they don’t get jobs the government had to pay for their benefits and in the end they become a burden on the country. So they have decided to stop sponsorships to focus on the internal job market. Especially after covid and brexit, the uk took a hit and they cannot afford to prioritise external people at the moment

You are giving valuable info, but your background is so distracting that it is hard to focus upon what you're saying.

Hi, I have an Unconditional offer from Bangor University in MBA FINANCE for Sept 2024, with €6000 scholarship, 1 yr course. However, many are saying *do not Come for a Management course* and if its 1 yr only. Instead, Do an *MSc. in Finance, Accounting, or Business Data Analytics* in a Univ. that offers q 2nd year (placement year) and are more tailored and Skilled for 1 area.
Some say to not even go to UK at the moment coz it's in recession.
Would love your suggestion / insight. Should I change the Course and take up the opportunity i have in hand or Think about another country in Jan/Feb Intake?
