Makes me think of a story how the main character, probably you, learns to bring their old friend/love, possibly sacrificing the one thing they've valued throughout their life, in order to get ever closer to vanquishing Yharim and freeing Terraria from its chains. Don't know why, it's just what I think of every time I listen to this part of the song.
