Well after hours if not days trying to install to my old raspberry the WIFI dongle LOTEKOO RT5370 Chip Wireless, I landed on your video and after following the initial commands to install the driver, bingo the blue light started blinking on the dongle and connected fine. Originally this worked for me and was working awesome! My SD card on my raspberry seems to have gone corrupt and I need to format it and start over. Does this mean I will need to re do all of the wifi dongle stuff too?

Hello, I have a problem with rasperry pi0 W - after switching it on it is detected by the network in totolink LR1200 and after about 30 seconds it disappears from the network. It works with other routers. I don't know what is the cause ..

Hi, We followed your code to the letter and we got the PI to recognise our wifi signal. whilst doing all this the ethernet cable was not plugged in as the entire idea is to use the PI where the ethernet cable does not reach. When we tried the iwconfig line at the end it came back saying no wireless extensions and so we cannot use the wireless internet.why is this? Did our ethernet cable need to have been plugged in all the time? If so this needs clarifying.

can you add wifi username/password in the boot file and get wifi that way (for users who can't use ethernet i.e it will disabe wifi for everyone in-house)?

Hi unable to make it work, using a Ralink 5370I am getting this iwconfig
