NEW RELEASE - TRAXXAS MAXX 1/10 SCALE TRUCK : UNBOXiNG & FiRST THOUGHTS! | RC ADVENTURES

Hey everyone, thanks for checking out my rather unusual unboxing format today.. but like always, I keep it interesting. This little truck was sent to me by TRAXXAS to unbox and try out. I was a little sceptical about this truck, because I HAVE a LARGE 8S Traxxas XMAXX. I thought that there was no way I would want a smaller version.. but I can COMPLETELY SEE why they sent it. ITS FRICKEN AWESOME. Mostly 5th Scale components, electronics wise. Look at the massive ESC (electronic speed control), and the servo!!! The fan alone is impressive on the brushless motor. THE ESC has a FUSE? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! EPIC.

The one thing that threw me off was the amount of play in the suspension arms. They move forward and backward a little more than I would like to see, but I contacted Traxxas and was able to get an answer from an engineer. "Its totally good to go" they say.. and that's good enough for me! The next test.. DURABILITY. The XMAXX is known for its toughness.. what about this little beast?! Time will tell. I may shim up those arms since it is so easy to access the hinge pins.

Thank fuck for your unboxings Medic. Youve been the first out of all the Maxx reviews Ive watched to actually stop, question anything about the truck. That play in the suspension is warranted calling them and making you hold up on liking the truck more than you should. Never disappointed with your content. Thanks for sharing.

Glad to see you feeling better. There are metal plates that hold in the hinge pins and the A arms are made to work on the front and back so that might be why you have a little slop that and it’s already snowing 🌨 in your neck of the woods

Glad you're feeling better! Pretty cool little rig there but I agree, that slop in the arms isn't typical. Shim it up!

My son (5) has asked Santa for an X-Maxx like mine for Christmas, we know Santa can't do that but Santa is bringing the whole Family a shiny new Maxx for Christmas! It should be a perfect upgrade from the Slash 4x4 that my kids are so good at breaking!

Glad to hear you are feeling better from what I read in your Community section. I feel for you because I have an old back & hip injury that I deal with for 10 years. Yes, the new Maxx is a beautiful truck. I love those colors!

The slop in the a arms is so they will be more durable and can move. With shims and making it tight it will break easier because there is no room for the plastics to flex. Love the truck and the channel brother. Hope your feeling better.

There are sometimes difficult moments, but you have the morale and it is the main one. This Traxxas is absolutely brilliant, excellent review and I am impressed by the esc and the servo, it's crazy !! I am really looking forward to seeing the test run !! We got ours in about a month ago at the hobby shop I work at and have been absolutely bashing it on our indoor track, it had been flawless!! Even with the play on the a-arms, absolutely love that truck and we have only been running a 3s..
