Most excellent! Not everyones a fan of this truck but I really enjoy mine. After adding cooling fans and sway bars, its an absolute blast! Very very robust too. I have tried to break mine and only thing I ever broke was a pinion but that was my fault, didnt let the Loctite cure LOL

I just got to drive my buddys maxx slash and its really impressive. Its fast and handles really good. He did add a sway bar kit to it so that might help it out. Im going to swap the shock oil out for him and test it out. If it gets any better it will be a very impressive truck

Best thing about the Mojave 4s, barely any catching air under the shell like most other SCTs.
I'm glad I couldn't afford one of these Slash things when they were released to be honest.

The best upgrade iv done to my Maxx was change the springs to a progressive spring rate. I bet it would do wonders on the maxx slash

I saw one running at Branford Hobbies last Friday after work. They tried it on 6S and 4S. I thought it was pretty cool.

As You’d stated, it did better bashing than on the truck.

I got one of the first release ones from my store I work at. Been letting customers drive it and spark that fire in them.
My real only complaints and I voiced them to my rep was 2 things
One the motor mount. Mine keeps shifting and the pinion grinds the case. I assume the aluminum plate will fix that but as an all around beat up truck shouldn’t need adjustment after every crash.
2 was the inner cage. There is a spot in the rear where the upper top cage could connect to the lower rear cage. It’s a crush point. Few flips and bing bong cracked crushed body. I’m going to see about making something to fit to help with the forces.
Bonus grip I didn’t mention to him is the servo. Not so much the power cause it does the job more the mount. Mine is completely broke. So servo works but the tabs are gone. I shouldn’t have to upgrade to something crazy and I should t have to have my customers replace a $100 servo when just the case is broke. Need to see if I can get them to just offer that.

I’m a Traxxas fanboy. I have the 2 trx4, slash platinum, erevo 2.0 and xmaxx. I really love Traxxas. Their advertising is so good it’s so tempting to buy them. Arrmas are also very cool. Basically every arrma that’s plastic is better than Traxxas. But the metal ones are worse. That’s my opinion tho. Write me back for your opinion 😀
