Putin did not said he’ll use nuclear weapons against Ukraine, what he said he would use them to defend Rusia’s territory

And yet our leaders are no where near trying to end this.

No Robby. Americans may not know the reasons for the fighting but Russians do! They felt the consequences of the destruction & horror that the Ukrainian govt gratuitously dished up to their families - leaving 14 000 dead in the Donbas with US weapons & training since 2014. From then on, Russians had to maintain the people of the Donbas through their taxes, the income from their resources & remittances since the Ukrainian govt disconnected the Donbas from the electricity grid & water networks & stopped paying salaries & pensions for good measure. I'm sorry, Russians know the reasons, hence 81% support Putin in this effort. What you should be concerned about as an American, is that your taxes are paying for the bloodshed & your leaders are unable to say the words "peace & negotiations."

Wow, a western media source that is actually reporting on what Putin actually says. Kudos!

Was the report that the US/UK scuttled the April accord correct? Bri mentioned it, referencing Aaron Mate's report, and Robbie apparently agreed. This should have ended in April.

Ignoring and not taking seriously the words of the leader of the largest nuclear world superpower must be one of the most irresponsible and negligent moves in history

WOW. I did not hear ONE WORD about nuclear threats. ZERO. Where did you get nuclear war. And it's okay for America to send tens of billions of dollars of weaponry to Ukraine, all sorts of missle systems, but Russia mentions one thing. It's horrific. What BS. You can pretty much blame America on what is going on in Ukraine.

Why no mention of Ukraine and Nato violating treaty for no shelling that lead to Russian reaction

Robbie my good boy! Ukraine is next door to Russia, so they don’t want EU/NATO rockets at their doorstep! Most Ukrainians speak Russian, most have relatives in Russia. This could have been averted, we should have never courted Ukraine to join the EU/NATO…

“Russia should get something.” Remind me again why should Russia get to keep land they stole from a sovereign country? Is that’s what he meant.
Russia should get gradual reduction of sanctions. Anything above that seems to be rewarding expansionist who act on tendencies to invade sovereign territory.
What Ukraine has to give up should under no circumstances be greater that what Russia has to give up since they are the factual, indisputable invaders

What's your argument? Let Russia take whatever it wants because they have nuclear weapons?
If Russia waves the nuclear option and the west folds so Russia gets Ukraine, do you think they wouldn't wave it again to get Kazakhstan, or Lithuania or Alaska? At what point would you say it is enough?

Future generations will judge NATO very harshly. Nations have nukes for existential crises, & NATO is presenting one. End NATO aggression. Putin tried to negotiate but western leaders refused. We should've listened to Prof. John Mearsheimer. 🕊

I've been saying this from the start, Zelenskyy should've 'taken the deal' from the beginning.
Of course it is never good to lose a part of your country, but it would prevent most of the loss of life plus all the economic mess that comes with it.
This chest beating and 1 upping is only going to cost the average citizen, it has to stop.

You guys have this so wrong! All those areas under referendums want OUT of Ukraine. Maybe you should be asking why. Ukraine is losing and losing badly regardless of one very costly and meaningless counter offensive.

In regards to protestors, Imagine being asked to fight in war you thought you were on the wrong side of? I don’t know how that’s going to do more than create cannon fodder. And sure cannon fodder has its uses strategically. But it’s still pretty sad to lose your life as cannon fodder for something you didn’t believe in

Fairly accurate reporting. However there is no mention here of the US role in the escalation.
