The government puts up those rules because of unexperienced traders (I want to call them morons) who bet more than they should and endo up losing the whole saving plus their house, so the government "has" to step in to put up some rules and appear that they're protecting the traders but in fact they're just screwing over the real ones. It really pisses me off because we're at a disadvantage competing against foreign traders who have all of the strategies and leverage available
