You don't really need to know how to 3 shove to treflip. One thing I recommend is to learn impossibles because of the similar scoop.

Nice vid. Just learned to tre flip at 35 after 20 years break. Two things I found that helped: firstly making sure I crouch down a lot, and secondly forgetting about what my front foot is doing, just concentrating on the back foot and the scoop. Once I got the scoop technique it all clicked into place, it’s something you can just feel and you know when you hit it right.

Took me 20 years (on and off) of skating to land my first Tre. This trick tip helped. Only landed one and have been trying more but after having so many slip out and throw me on my ass or landing primo it’s getting difficult to commit. When I try it, it seems like I’m putting much energy into it. When I watch other dudes it looks like they’re barely even trying.

Nice video, though for the impossible, it is a little bit different with the foot placement. It’s more inside the pocket and you press down to give it a good wrap. For the 3 flip, the big toe gets under the board to scoop. I actually lost my tre learning impossibles but then relearn it and now I can identify how different they are. Good tips nonetheless. That last spread eagle tre was amazing!
