Regular wheels spin around a small center hub axle...But here the small hub is expanded to the circumference rim, right next to the tyre, resulting in a very much bigger area to place bearings, guides, etc...more noise and frictions...very inefficient, and more messy from water and dust intrusion.
Cycling motion power is better driven from the axle, not edge driven at the rim circumference

Why the large gap between the front tire and the steering head...I mean the front wheel does NOT use any suspension set up so why have it so far away from the top of the gooseneck and steering head??? Something is wrong here...I don't think this is a working model...just a mock up. No electric regenerative braking??? WTF?
