When I first stepped into the Garden of Deep Purple, I stared at St. Trina for so long I lost track of time. Is it a tree? Is it a flower? Is it a cloaked woman? Her velvety hair flowing without breeze. Then I saw the face and realized I was looking at St. Trina. The music describing her beauty without words, but also allowing you to acknowledge how alone she is deep underground in that cave. This song is honestly the most beautiful thing I’ve heard in this entire game. I just wanted to pour my thoughts out while they’re still fresh, I’m still standing in her garden while Thiollier lay resting eternal.

I'd like to think St. Trina's design and placement in the story was made to directly parallel the minor erdtree that Marika left in the Shaman village. The item description for the incantation describes it as being "Only the kindness of gold, without Order." Miquella falsely believes that he has to sacrifice his empathy in order to right the wrongs of his mother, but what he fails to realize is that the rejection of love and kindness, was the same mistake that led to the failings of Marika and her Golden Order.

I must say, Thiollier is probably the most intriguing NPC in the game for me so far next to Ansbach
I mean he sounds so young still but what undescribable sorrow and pain must have befallen this young man to tread the peath he chose?

In a way following St. Trina and consuming her nektar, while decorated with a flowery way of speech and accompanied by gently, floral imagery in a tranquil cavern, at the end it is still suicide
and he seems so enamoured with her, even through Miquellas enchantment his adoration for her percists

Saint Trina's design was so damn creative, it somehow fit perfectly and yet it still surprised me just how amazing they made her look. The music, of course, is phenomenal, creating the perfect atmosphere.

I knew St. Trina was in that fissure, the moment i saw the purple fog... I remember that i stayed literally moments at the Grace with the sleeping animals... They looked so peaceful, but yet i lingering feeling that i can't explain.
When i saw St- Trina's figure, i was so confused but also in a emotional state with the music. I was wondering if she was standing with her back against me? I had to step closer, only to realize how beautifully they pictured her, in her sleeping state of a gentle flower...
This is just a master piece really.

st. trina is my favorite character in this game. her mystery is one of the most beautiful and tragic tales i've ever seen, and the thematic closure it gives is genuinely heart shattering. she truly cares for miquella after all that's happened and she would've helped him become the perfect god, but he was blindsided by the bigger goal and abandoned the only part of himself that truly would've made him the god of compassion
