Holly Willoughby has cried over the backlash that she has gotten for queue jumping the line for Queen’s Lying in state

A fan left a supportive comment on Instagram saying: “I wish everyone would leave Holly alone, people don’t know what really happened so I think people should back off. Holly if you’re reading this, just know that millions love and support you. Don’t listen to the hate”

l would not describe either of them as being journalists, they are presenters. Phil and Holly have both written books about themselves, both had terrible reviews, so they are not 'writers' either. They have had a very good run for their money on little talent, and they both got too big for their boots to use an old saying.

She's not used to being disliked and her and Phil have been adored by their audience for years but their popularity rests on public opinion and I think people perceive their actions as a display of their arrogance and over inflated egos. I do think it was time they were knocked down a peg or two and they need to realise that nothing lasts forever, especially favour with the British public. I think they've had their time in the spotlight and this is the public's way of telling them that we've ultimately had enough of the duo as a whole.
