The GameCube Was A FAILURE!

Nintendo thought the GameCube was an absolute failure!

They think it's a failure but gamecube games are some of the most expensive games nowadays

GameCube had to compete with PS2. Nintendo stood no chance with that battle.

The GameCube was underrated for sure, I think their proprietary disks were the main reason the sales weren't too great. their disks just didn't have as much compacity as sonys so the GameCube didn't have nearly as much third party support. The Ps2 could also play DVDs. DVD players were expensive at the time so it made a lot of sense to but the ps2 just for that reason alone. It's still one of my favorite consoles of all time but I understand why sales weren't too great.

It is my favorite console of all time and it had AMAZING games in its catalog, but when compared to the console sales of the PS2 and the X-Box, the GameCube falls short. So yeah... Deemed a failure because of that.

We also don't have Mario 3D Land on the Switch, they could've just included it in Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury

It's a failure because it only sold something with 20 million where the gamecube was a part of the console war against playstation and xbox and will the gamecube failed

say whay and game like The Simpsons: Hit & Run blood rayne 1 and 2 some tittles that was on the ps2 multiplat games ran better if not the game cube was more powerful than the ps2 . so xbox was in first place game cube was in second place then the ps2 was in last place wow . how the odds change in 2021 .
